New Blog + Happy New Year!

I just created another new blog about my travel and restaurant experiences. I am hoping really just to post many pictures of my trips and fun places where my wife and have dined.

Hopefully, I can keep up postings on a regular basis. Long term I would like to have a record of my travels that I can just look back on a blog.

Happy New Years!!

It's hard to believe the new year is almost here. It went by awfully quick. For anyone who reads this blog, I do wish you and your family a safe and happy holiday.

Cheers!

Facebook and Twitter

I have a few social networks I belong to and have been thinking of joining Facebook and Twitter for awhile now. One of the main reasons I want to create one is because I get traffic on some of my sites from them. When I click to see the link, I get stopped immediately and asked to join.

I know it is easy to join, but I am not in the mood to learn a new network and willing to maintain it at this time. Eventually, I will probably give in. For now I am content with MyBlogLog and BlogCatatlog. Some of the other social networks I was on have died: Bumpzee and WeBetUr. A few others I can't think of.

When to sell gold

I don't have any funds in the stock market. I did invest in some gold ETFs early in the year and it only recently started paying off. However, I sold it off completely and took profits. The plan was to wait for a pull back and rebuy, but that has not happened. Of course, it has continued to go up.

I went ahead and jumped back into both gold and silver ETFs and by the end of the day was up almost 2 percent. I hope it continues to rally into the new year, but I will probably resell before then.

This was a good video to watch on when to sell gold.

Public Bus Fight

I was just surfing and ran into this crazy video. What makes it interesting is that I think I rode on this bus line when I visited the city.

The fight is apparently over a seat.

Creating blogs that you love to do

OK, I just got some inspiration from a former fellow blogger. He just got a free food offer to review a restaurant. Now that is awesome. I enjoy food as much as the next guy. I watch shows like Top Chef and wish I could be a judge just so I can taste all that delicious food they make.

Another reason to blog about food is it is easy to stay motivated and write about stuff that you love. Let's see where this takes me.

Being positive

I think I need to focus on being more positive on my online presence. Even though I feel positive in my personal life, I think online I tend to focus on the negative things in current events. It could be the recession or simply me getting older and caring more about what politicians do and where our taxpayer dollars go.

The problem is I think the more negative things I focus on the more I blog about it. Anyways, I will attempt to do that more on my main blog. Cheers!

Just a rain video I took a couple of years ago. I really like it because it puts me in a happy mood.

Updating all my blogs

I am even more grateful for what I have now in my life than the last time I posted. I have relocated out of California and transplanted both my wife and me to Nevada. I never thought I would have moved to the infamous Las Vegas. In the last 12 months, I think I have visited about 6 times here. I have not had a bad experience yet.
We haven't finished settling in yet, and I think it will take awhile because we want to do some home improvements before we move in all our furniture.
I think one of the reasons why I feel so good is that it is a fresh start for us. I like the idea of starting over again or reinventing myself. I have had more time to blog and so many things to blog about. I will probably create a few more blogs with a Las Vegas theme.
Anyways, life is excellent and I hope you all the best. We all deserve to live a fulfilling life. I have learned in my 42 years of life, we all must make conscious decisions and take action to make that life for ourselves. I found my true love at a young age who is now my wife and my best friend. I have a great mom. I am healthy. I do thank God everyday for all my blessings. Thanks for coming by and visiting. Cheers!

Gratitude

I know I am lucky to be where I am today. I will be 42 years old soon and appreciate every day that I get to live with my wife. I am simply happy to be alive and blessed with so many gifts.

I started another new blog and hopefully I will start blogging on all these blogs more consistently. Truth be told, I am very inspired right now and extremely enthusiastic in my new adventure with my wife.

I will update you more later on my new blog My first bank REO. I did put my first post up yesterday. Have an excellent day. Cheers!

Blogger blogs

I really do like these blogger blogs because it is super easy to post on them. They make them so user friendly that I would like to create more. The only drawback is that you don't get to own the blog or its content even though you created it all.
I do have a regular blog that I created that gets decent traffic, but have had the hosting company go down because of the traffic surges. I would guess that would never be an issue with these blogs.
I did watch the latest UFC and wasn't too impressed with Rampage's performance against Jardine. I have been slowly losing interest in MMA for some reason. It is still entertaining but I just don't get too excited about watching them.

WOW! REALITY STEVE TELLS ALL BACHELOR JASON SPOILER ALERT!!

OK, Reality Steve just spilled the beans and it really is a jaw dropper. If it is true and we will soon know, then Bachelor Jason is a total jerk and that every girl not picked is the winner.

Go to his site to read it: Reality Steve

or watch his youtube videos:

The Bachelor Finale - Part 1

The Bachelor Finale - Part 2

The Bachelor Finale - Part 3

If his site goes down because of all the hits he going to get, I will reprint it here for you.

My regular blog is down because of traffic and hosting issues but will be back soon. www.totalnoid.com. Cheers!

Bachelor Jason and Reality Steve clues and answers: the WHO and the HOWe

OK, my regular blog is down but I still wanted to write about this. I think Reality Steve definitely has inside information on Bachelor Jason's series. I read his latest post just now which has about 2000 comments. That is a lot!

He talked about his previous clues and what they mean. Reality Steve:

So what does “K Moon/Rebecca” mean? When I first found out this information, and a friend asked me, “Can you tell me anything without giving it away?”, what I told them was, “This season is not necessarily about the who, but the how.” And I think even someone ran with that and put it in comment section back on either 1/19 or 1/26. So when I posted the first clue of “K Moon/Rebecca”, I thought someone would go back a week, remember the “It’s not necessarily the who, but the how”, and put two and two together. Well, I was wrong. I think there’s about maybe 20 to 30 people who figured out “K Moon” was “Keith Moon”, drummer for “The Who”. Hell, if the clue would’ve been “R Daltrey/Rebecca”, would that have made it easier? I don’t even listen to “The Who”. I just knew I wanted my clue to be “It’s not necessarily about the who, but the how.” So I wikipedia’d “The Who” and used the guys name from the band who I least recognized. I’d never even heard of the guy, so I went with that one. So “K Moon” = The Who.

The “how” was a bit trickier, but not much. So I went to imdb.com for a little help. Well, let’s see, Kirstie Alley’s character on “Cheers” was named “Rebecca Howe.” Bingo. There’s your clue. “K Moon/Rebecca” = Who/How. I’m a simple man. I wasn’t looking up Kiwi birds in New Zealand, or talking about moons, and orbits, and whatever else got thrown out there. You people really overanalyzed this clue. As for the Rebecca part, I was SHOCKED that nobody would try to link it up with a pop culture reference to one of the most famous sitcoms of all time. But like I said, even if you got that clue (which I think one person in America even suggested that Rebecca was a character on “Cheers”), didn’t mean you’d be able to figure anything out. It all fits in the story ABC is telling this season. No, this season is not about WHO he chooses, but the HOW behind it all.

Now that I have watched the recent episode, and read this last Reality Steve post, I think the jaw dropper isn't he picked Melissa and gets engaged or married to her, but that it is scripted and not true reality TV at all, but possibly Jason and some of the ladies acting out parts or characters in a written story with a specific ending. Looks like Reality Steve will get the last laugh.

Bachelor Jason Mesnick, DeAnna Pappas, Reality Steve, and the FORT spoiler updates

My regular Chessnoid site went down tonight on my busy traffic days. Every Monday I get my traffic surge because of Bachelor posts. The traffic surge usually lasts until Tuesday. My hosting company that I prepaid for 2 years says I did something that forced them to suspend my account. I called in and asked what was up. The customer service rep said there was a php script abuse flagged on my account. I asked how to fix it and he said a supervisor would have to check it out and that I needed to email my request.
Nevertheless, I still needed to write about the Bachelor. First of all, I think that Reality Steve must be getting a million hits because I got a server error on my end and tried a few times. I will try again tomorrow to see what the 4th clue is.
As far as the FORTers, they are still on mark. Of the last 3 bachelorettes Molly, Melissa, and Jillian, Bachelor Jason decided to let Jillian go in the end.
All 3 girls seemed to have fun dates and they all accepted to spend the night with Bachelor Jason in the fantasy suite. Not all together but separately. lol.
As far as the FORTers, they seem to be batting a 100% right now.
While looking on the web I did find a great screen cap analysis by the JokersUpdate site by a poster named Valen. Here is the link: Valens' screencaps.

UFC 94

There is a great fighter in the making. If you didn't see it on UFC 94, Lyoto Machida will become a fighter to beat. I think he could become UFC's newest star. Here is a quick clip of the knockout of Thiago Silva. Silva is a tough fighter and was undefeated up until now.

I love to travel

Last year 2008 was a rough one and 2009 is suppose to be worse, but a good thing is I got to travel a lot. These were previously planned trips before the downturn and I still think of those trips and how much fun my wife and I had.

We went to Seattle, San Francisco, and Las Vegas twice. Truly had a great time exploring the cities. Since tough times are here, we won't be able to go to the far destinations we would like to, but we have decided to get creative and just explore the cities near by. There are a ton of places to go in Los Angeles and we haven't done the tourist thing here yet.

One thing I would like to do is go on a tour bus here. I remember before starting my freshman year in college, Woodbury University sponsored a trip for freshman to take a tour of the city on a double decker bus. It was open on the second level and I remember it being a fun day and meeting my future classmates. I think my wife would enjoy it too if we did it now.

I think San Diego is always a great place to visit too. I lived there for a couple of years near the beach. I remember being able to go fishing off the pier any time of the day. I think a tour bus excursion would be awesome there too and a great way to learn about the city.

Have an excellent day. Cheers!
